HIS Beauty & Creation - Figured Cherry Cross conceals a complexity that is hidden by the Cherry Trim cross at the center of the vertical and horizontal Cross beams.
This highly Figured Cherry Cross was constructed with 4 individual wood pieces creating an "X" joint at the Cross center. To Hide that joint, thin Cherry trim was added and secured over these joints. The result appears to be a seamless piece of Figured Cherry while creating a beautiful Cherry cross at the Center.
Figured Cherry is not readily stocked at most lumber yards. As a result, His Holy Cross keeps a supply of Figured/Curly/Burled Cherry in its shop when available.
